The Point of no return - a death in the afternoon

John F. Kennedy, (above), thirty-fifth President of the United States, (1961-1963). His death 0n November 22, 1963, unofficially marks the transition of the United States from a republic to an empire, ruled outside of the democratic process established by the American Constitution.

In his inaugural address, he spoke of the need for all Americans to be active citizens, famously saying, "Ask not what your country can do for you; ask what you can do for your country."

Kennedy addresses the nation during the Cuban Missile Crisis which began on October 14, 1962.
